Despite its small size, Santa Eulalia is the third most important town on the island. The beaches are excellent - they hold the EC Blue Flag award for cleanliness. Blue waters one side and a 'prom' on the other, set the sands off rather nicely. The town itself is full of interest and is divided into ancient and modern by the tree-lined Calle St Jaime. Explore the old quarter, where white houses cluster around the 16th century church and see the work of local impressionist painters at the Barrau Museum. Those after something more lively may prefer Santa Eulalia's trendy marina, or the many bars, caf?s and restaurants of the new town, where you'll also find excellent shopping and a limited nightlife. It's everything a holiday should be, with ferries to Ibiza Town, Es Cana and Formentera if you fancy a day out. TRANSFER TIME - Airport to Santa Eulalia 35 minutes |
