The south of Majorca is where the main bustling resorts of Magaluf and Palma Nova are situated for those looking for lots of action, day and night. The island´s capital Palma, situated on the impressive south coast bay with an exclusive marina, is a city where the old merges with the new. Belver castle and the majestic Gothic cathedral overlook the bay, whilst the city centre boasts chic, designer shops, with good restaurants and nightlife nearby. Palma is easily accessible from all the resorts via a modern road network. Magaluf and Palma Nova are really one resort given that they are located so close together, it is difficult to know where one starts and the other ends. Either way, you´ll have access to two glorious beaches, every variety of watersport, shops, bars, restaurants, and entertainment galore. It is undoubtedly Majorca´s liveliest area and extremely popular with younger holiday makers and families. The Aquapark and go-karts are just some of the many attractions. |
