The relatively new resort of Islantilla itself is built on one of these beaches. Islantilla and the surrounding area has something to offer everyone - beaches and ocean, sailing, windsurfing, boat hire, Andalucia´s most beautiful 18 hole golf course in Islantilla itself, and another in nearby Isla Canela, and a good selection of tempting restaurants.

In Islantilla, the restaurants, pubs and cafés are concentrated in the recently built commercial centre on the main street. The centre also houses a supermarket, banks, chemists, a cinema and a selection of other shops.
