Situated approx. 10 miles north of Corfu town, Ipsos has good swimming from a long narrow strip of shingle beach which is fronted by a pleasant promenade. There are endless bars, cafes, restaurants, tavernas and discos lining the seafront and lots of cocktail bars. There is also a good watersports school for daytime activities.

Literally round the corner form Ipsos, the resort of Pyrgi is now a hotspot in its own right. Both resorts are well know for excellent nightlife which continues till dawn - so definitely recommended for the young and lively.

If your holiday dream is early to bed and plenty of relaxation, then Ipsos or Pyrgi are not the choice for you! These are not restful resorts; on the contrary, a holiday here requires vast amounts of energy, vivacity and staying power! So, be warned……
