Day 1: Arrive Cape Town
Private transfer on arrival from the Cape Town International Airport to your Hotel. Overnight in the Southern Sun Waterfront Hotel on a B&B Basis.

Days 2-4: Cape Town
South Africa's oldest city, or "Mother City", with the majestic Table Mountain as a backdrop, has developed into one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world. Cobbled streets and the Islamic ambiance of the Bo Kaap enhance the cosmopolitan feel, while the bustling Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, spoils you with its choice of shops and Cafes. Days 5 & 6: Cape Town to Stellenbosch
Today you collect your hire car at the Southern Sun Waterfront Hotel Europcar Desk (Group T Hyundai ATOS or similar, all rental fees & unlimited mileage) and head for the Cape Winelands. Visit Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, the 'Food & Wine Capitals' of South Africa. Overnight in the Oak Village in Stellenbosch on a B&B Basis. Cape Town to Stellenbosch +- 50km

Day 7: Stellenbosch to Oudtshoorn
Leaving the Winelands behind, you travel along the Route 62 with its Little Karoo scenery, fertile valleys, spectacular rock formations, steep passes and magnificent vistas. Visit Ostrich farms and the Cango Caves. Overnight in the Hlangana Lodge in Oudtshoorn on a B&B Basis. Stellenbosch to Oudtshoorn +- 320km

Days 8 & 9: Oudtshoorn to Plettenberg Bay
Heading over the spectacular Outeniqua Mountains, you travel to Plettenberg Bay, set at the heart of the Garden Route. Vast expanses of pristine golden beaches, dolphin & whale spotting, forest walks in the Wilderness or Tsitsikamma Parks, picturesque villages with great food and local crafts, mountains and lakes, make this area truly special. Day 10: Plettenberg Bay to Port Elizabeth

Days 11–13: Port Elizabeth to Amakhala Private Game Reserve
Spend three days on safari including two guided safari's per day, which will ensure you have the best chance to see the 'Big 5' (lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, leopard) and a wide range of other animals and birds. Staying overnight in a lodge in the reserve will give you a real flavour of the African bush.
