Mauritius is one of the most romantic destinations in the world, and has been one of the most popular for Honeymooners.

Beachcomeber Le Mauricia is a recently renovated 4* hotel within walking distance of the lively village of Grand Baie.

Le Mauricia has four categories of rooms suitable for couples, families or friends travelling as a group.

Located on the first or second floor, Standard rooms offer one-bedroom accommodation with a bathroom. All are sea facing and have a large bay window opening onto a private terrace or balcony, framed by a trellis.

The ground-level Superior rooms also have one bedroom and an en-suite bathroom which is equipped with a bath and shower. The pergola-shaded terrace opens onto a small private garden that leads to the beach.

The rooftop Honeymoon Suites have commanding views over the bay and are equipped with a private pool and outdoor shower, synonymous with privacy and exclusivity.

Guest Review: "My wife, our two sons and I have just returned from Le Mauricia hotel after a superb weeks holiday. I was a little unsure if such a long distance destination would be worth the effort but have been very pleased that we chose this excellent hotel. The check in was efficient and courteous and set a good example of how we were to be treated during our stay.
Our rooms were spotless and of a high standard with newly refurbished bathrooms. We booked superior ground floor rooms that opened directly to the beach. The hotel is right on the beach and the view of Grand Baie was lovely. There were always plenty of beach beds at any time of day.
The water sports were excellent with windsurfing particularly good as there was plenty of wind with little sea waves as the Bay is protected by the coral reef.
Would we come back?
You bet we would and are already thinking about returning to Mauritius next year! We may try one of the other Beachcomber hotels next time but would highly recommend Le Mauricia as a quality tropical destination."
