Nora Beach Resort & Spa, Koh Samui 4*

Preserved in a Thai style, this holiday resort is harmonically integrated within tropical gardens with a waterfall and offers guests a mixture of Western comfort and Thai hospitality. This hotel is fully air-conditioned and was extensively renovated in 2004. On offer are a total of 96 rooms, of which 16 are suites, spread across three floors in the main building. Guests are greeted in the open-air lobby with a piano bar and a reception desk which is open 24 hours a day and includes a safe where valuable may be stored as well as a currency exchange facility. Dining options include a number of restaurant (with highchairs for children), and further facilities at this establishment include conference rooms, bars, and cafes. Room and laundry services are also on offer to guests, as is a public Internet terminal and medical assistance. Moreover, those arriving by car may make use of the parking facilities.

Guest review: The resort's absolutely amazing. It's great for a gateway from all hustle and bustle. It's quite peaceful because it's not too near to the main town but near enough should you need to visit town. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The staff service was also very good.

Guest review: We stayed in Mai samui in July for 10 days. We planned to stay 5 nights and than travel to koh tao. But we enjoyed the comfort and quiet so much that we decided to stay longer. The staff of Mai samui are so nice, they treat you as king and queen. That is what you want in a hotel!!

Centara Villas Samui 4*

Centara Villas Samui is located on Natien Beach in South Koh Samui. Just a few steps from the inviting pool is the wide, white, sandy beach which has direct access from the hotel. The resort is just 15 minutes to the resort of Lamai Beach, 30 minutes to Chaweng Beach, and 27 kilometers to Samui International Airport. The resort rooms flow down a gentle hill to the beach and oceanfront and so the property has a number of steps connecting the various areas of the complex. This hotel is not recommended for the elderly with walking difficulties, the disabled or guests with very young children because of these extra steps.

The rooms feature a picturesque view of the beautifully landscaped gardens, pool or the sea from the private furnished balcony, bathrooms/shower, individual air-conditioning colour television with satellite TV and in-house movies channel, refrigerator with fully stocked mini-bar, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and in-room safe. Children 2-11.99 years are free on BB when sharing with 2 adults in exisiting bedding.

Guest review: After a hectic 2 days in Bangkok we were so pleased to arrive at the Centara. We arrived to a warm welcome and a welcome drink, staff were very friendly and welcoming and told us everything we needed to know. It has such a calm and relaxing atmosphere in a beautiful environment
