Special Offer - Kenya Safari Day 1: Nairobi. Karibu - welcome !! On arrival in Nairobi, you will be met by our agent and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in the Sarova Panafric Hotel on a B&B Basis.
Day 2: Nairobi to Nakuru +- 140km. After breakfast and a short pre-safari briefing you depart in your comfortable safari vehicle with your driver/guide. Heading through some breathtaking Rift Valley scenery, you arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in Nakuru National Park. Overnight in the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge on a Full Board Basis. Day 3: Nakuru. Morning and afternoon Nakuru Safari. Nakuru National Park was created in 1961 as a bird sanctuary to protect the huge flocks of Greater and Lesser Flamingo which give the lake its characteristic pink rim. The park is now the most important black and white rhino sanctuary Kenya. Other wildlife includes over 400 recorded bird species, cats including lion, cheetah and leopard, zebra, buffalo, giraffe and antelope. Overnight in the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge on a Full Board Basis. Day 4: Nakuru to Nanyuki. +- 170km. After breakfast you depart for the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, located on the plains of Mount Kenya. Your accommodation, the Serena Lodge is a sheltered oasis and offers a charming blend of under-canvas ambiance and safari luxury. The camp features thirty-nine luxury tents, each with its own private veranda overlooking the water hole, allowing for unrivaled wildlife-watching.
Sweetwaters is host to all the members of the ‘Big Five' (elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo and leopard). The conservancy has a higher wildlife-to-area ratio than any Kenyan National Park and is one of only four private game conservancies to have been founded in Kenya. At the forefront of the Kenyan conservancy programme, it boasts the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya, and shelters large numbers of rare and endangered species. Overnight in the Serena Sweetwaters Tented Camp on a Full Board Basis. Day 5: Nanyuki to Samburu. +- 175km. Today you travel north to Samburu, a place of endless skies, dust-red plains and palm-fringed rivers. Samburu National Reserve lies on the fringes of the vast and arid desert once known as the Northern Frontier District, whose heat-scorched scrub-lands extend all the way to the jade-green waters of Lake Turkana and beyond. In the middle lies Sarova Shaba Game Lodge; Kenya's best kept secret! The Lodge is attractively laid out with chalet style rooms overlooking the Uaso Nyiro River. Enjoy your afternoon on safari before overnighting in the Sarova Shaba Game Lodge on a Full Board Basis.
Day 6: Samburu. Full Day on safari with picnic lunch in one of Kenya’s most protected areas and home to species found north of the equator only - from the reticulated giraffe to Grevy’s zebra and Beisa Oryx. Overnight in the Sarova Shaba Game Lodge on a Full Board Basis. Day 7: Samburu to Nairobi. +- 310km. Sadly today is your last safari and a drive past the slopes of Mount Kenya take you back to Nairobi. Here you have a chance to catch up on some shopping before enjoying dinner at the world famous Carnivore Restaurant (dinner included & drinks for own account). Overnight in the Sarova Panafric Hotel on a B&B Basis. Day 8: Depart. A private transfer takes you back to the Nairobi International Airport in time for your return flight.
