Day 1

 

Arrive Auckland (30km)
         
On arrival at Auckland Airport you are met and transferred to your hotel. (Self Drive passengers collect your rental vehicle for your exclusive use until the end of the tour package).

 


Day 2

 

Auckland/Bay of Islands (250km)

This morning depart Auckland for your journey north to Paihia in the Bay of Islands. Travel over the Harbour Bridge and through the North Shore. On arrival in Paihia enjoy a visit to the historic Waitangi Treaty House.

 


Day 3

 

Day at leisure - Bay of Islands 
         
Full day at your leisure - time available for swimming with the dolphins, golfing at scenic Waitangi or exploring this historic area. Instead of the 2nd night accommodation in the Bay of Islands & the Hole in the Rock cruise, you can upgrade to the Bay of Islands Overnight Cruise. If you book this package before 31 August 2010 for travel before 31 March 2011, this upgrade is FOC, see Package tariff for surcharge for bookings  from 1 September 2010 onwards.

 


Day 4

 

Bay of Islands/Auckland (250km)
         
This morning make your way to the nearby Paihia Wharf where you will join the world famous Cape Brett “Hole  in the Rock” cruise.  This afternoon depart Paihia for your return journey via Whangarei to Auckland where your  tour ends at The Sky City Travel Centre, or drop off at hotels can be arranged. Tour ends with drop off at approximately 2010.   (Self-drive passengers return your rental car to airport depot or add additional days).
