Day 1

 

Auckland (30km)
        
On arrival at Auckland Airport you are met and transferred to your hotel. (Self-drive passengers collect your rental vehicle for your exclusive use until the end of the tour package).

 


Day 2

 

Auckland / Coromandel (168km)
         
Travel south via the Pacific Coast Highway, Thames to Coromandel town. From here travel on to Pauanui to your hotel. Visits are included to the Rapaura Watergardens and Driving Creek Railway.

 


Day 3

 

Day at leisure - Coromandel
         
Today take an optional tour to see the beautiful beaches of Mercury Bay or take a walking tour.

 


Day 4

 

Coromandel / Rotorua (218km)
         
More time today to explore Coromandel before travelling to the thermal centre, Rotorua. This evening, time is available for an optional hangi (dinner) and concert.

 


Day 5

 

Rotorua (or Rotorua / Auckland 260km)
         
Morning sightseeing tour of Rotorua including visits to Te Puia, Rainbow Trout Springs and Agrodome. (Self-drive passengers - entrance voucher for included sights are provided). Tour ends this afternoon in Rotorua or return to Auckland by coach with drop off at the Intercity Coach Terminal, Skycity Hotel at 1815. (Self-drive passengers return your rental car directly to airport depot or add additional days).
