There is a high speed train link is expected to take travellers from city to airport in 15 minutes. This finished in late 2009. Airport Express provides air-conditioned bus services between the airport and Bangkok stopping at the major hotels along the way.

General Info : Frankfurt airport is undergong a massive investment and expansion at present. They are in the process of building a third terminal with a new runway also in the plans.

A number of major German banks offer comprehensive international banking facilities at the airport. There are also a wide variety of eating and drinking alternatives at the airport with restaurants,bars and cafes in both terminals. Internet access is widely available throughout the airport while there is excellent shopping facilities also with Marktplaz the leading mall with over 130 shops at the airport itself. The airport has pharmacies and a 24-hour medical clinic in Terminal 1. There are various children’s play areas, baby change rooms and buggy hire at the left-luggage offices in both terminals.
