Things to do Shanghai

Shanghai one of the most populated cities on the planet with over 12 million people. It is Chinas largest city situated on the East China Coastline where the Yangtze river meets the sea. This is Chinas most industrialised city and is a hub of commercial activity 24 hours a day. This city has a vibrant business community and although there is plenty to do in terms of after hours entertainment there are no manjor beautfy spots or historic points of interest although there are a few museums and tranquil spots, they are few and far between.

As for the best time to visit Shanghai the summer can get extremly hot when the city is packed with tourists. A better time to visit the visit is Spring and Autumn when it is not quite so crowded, although it can get a bit wet in winter. It is best to avoid Shanghai in Winter as it can get extremly cold and wet.

Shanghai Airport.

The main airport of Shanghai is the Hong Qiao International Airport (SHA), located about 14 kilomters south west of the city. There is excellent public transport into the city senter however it can get a bit confusing given the language difficulties trying to explain where you are going. For this reason we recommend you take a taxi however have your destination address written out to avoid confusion. The major hotels all have shuttle buses running to the airport quite reguarly.
