Empire State Building New York- New York's tallest building, at a height of 145m. The structure was built at a record speed in just 410 days. You can get spectacular views over the city from the 86th and the 102nd floors. Opens from 8am to 1am.

Central Park New York - With a size of 843 acres, Central Park will keep you busy for a long afternoon. The park is almost completely landscaped and contains several walking tracks, ice skating rinks, the Central Park Zoo and the Central Park Conservatory Garden.

Museum of Modern Art New York - Monet, Van Gogh, Matisse and Picasso are only a fraction of a vast collection of 150,000 paintings, prints, sculptures and other media. Opening hours: daily, from 10.30am to 5.30 pm (8pm on Fridays)
