Who is Gohop.ie?
Gohop.ie
was launched to empower the independent and business traveller with a host of
information to make booking their travel plans easier. Using the Gohop.ie site,
travellers can book flights,cars and hotels based on their own preference. They
may also avail of experienced travel professionals if they require help with their
online enquiry and can yield ticket savings up to 30% on up to 500 airlines worldwide.
Gohop.ie was formerly farenet.ie, which was Irelands leading multi-airline site
with over 80,000 users availing of its services in its first year of operation.

How do I get the lowest fare?
Our
low fare finder searches through the available flights for your given dates of
travel and returns a list of the cheapest available fare options.

Can I book my holiday through Gohop.ie?
Yes,
travellers may use Gohop.ie to book airline, package holidays, hotel and/or car
reservations for their next holidays. Don’t forget to check out our "Tip Tools"
and our "destination information" for valuable information that will
help you plan your holiday.

How can I request a specific seat?
When
you purchase an itinerary, from the Billing information page, click on "Seats"
to request a specific seat assignment for any of the flights in your itinerary.
If you don't request a specific seat for a flight, we will request one based on
the seating preferences in your profile. Seating is limited to the availability
of seats by the airline.

What different passenger types does Gohop.ie support?
We
now support a variety of passenger types: Adult & Children under 12 as accompanied
by an adult.

What
if I need to change a trip?
Planned
trips that you have not purchased can be changed at any time. Open the "Trip Planner"
section once logged in. This displays any itineraries you have planned. From here,
you can make changes to the trip and either re-save it or purchase it. A purchased
trip cannot be changed online. For any changes to a purchased trip, please call
Customer Service at 353-01-2412387. We are available 6 days a week. Mon-Friday
: 9.30am - 5.30pm and Saturday 10-1pm.

Why can’t I book Ryanair Flights, etc. with Gohop.ie?
Unfortunately,
Ryanair is an airline that does not participate in the Computer Reservation system
that Gohop.ie uses. Thus Gohop.ie does not have access to their flight or fare
availability and are unable to offer Low Cost Flights.

What if I need to charge a ticket to a different credit card then what’s in my
profile?
After
you have decided on your purchase, you must contact Gohop.ie to change any payment
details. Written verification is required if the purchaser of the ticket is different
to the person who is travelling.

What taxes and/or additional charges apply?
Flight
prices are quoted inclusive of tax while in relation to Hotels and car rentals
we supply you with taxes or additional charges along with a full description of
the rates. Car and Hotel quotes are given in the local currency and do not include
taxes so please review the Hotel and Car rental information to view any additional
charges.

Can I use any membership rewards program?
Yes,
you can earn points where eligible provided such information is entered into your
profile. For information regarding the usability/applicability of membership rewards,
you will need to contact that reward program with the supplier in question. Many
of our discounted airfare programs do not award mileage awards.

How do I select a flight/hotel/car reservation?
How
will I know whether the flight/hotel/car I’ve selected is available? You can click
on either flight/car/hotel options to begin booking either of the above. You will
input “Departing,” “Arriving,” and dates of travel and the number of additional
adults travelling. You can also check a box if you also need a car or hotel room.
A list of available flights/hotels/cars will then be listed, from which you can
book a reservation.

How can I review and/or modify my reservation before it’s submitted?
If
you want to change the arrangements for any itinerary, press the “Change” button
next to the destination an/or current preferences.

Will I receive a confirmation of my reservation?
An
e-mail confirmation will automatically be sent to your member address. You can
also provide us with a phone contact for confirmation.

Sometimes I just need a car or hotel only. How do I book these?

On
the home page either click on the Car/Hotel Only" button. Enter the necessary
information. Do not forget to enter both a pick-up/check-in date AND a drop-off/check
out date. Click on "Continue" and follow the steps to make either a hotel
or car booking.

How do I book an itinerary with multiple travellers who are not currently members
of Gohop.ie?
Before
planning your trip, add any other travellers to your profile. You can add a traveller
to your profile by clicking on "My Profile" on the top main navigation, then "Companions
& Authorizations" on the left navigation menu. Click the "Add Companion" button
and enter their name (s) and other information. After you've finished, these travellers
are now a part of your profile. You may continue to add as may companions as you
desire (though you can only enter up to four on an itinerary). Click on the "Done"
button to return to the home page. From the "Plan a Trip" link, under the "travellers
On this Itinerary" section, you'll be able to select the travellers you entered
into your profile. If you've started to plan an itinerary with multiple travellers,
but do not have companions named in your profile, when you purchase your itinerary,
you can just click the "Add Companion" button from the "Billing" page. Remember
to click the "Done" box at the bottom of the page so that your changes will be
saved.

When will my tickets be delivered?
Once
payment has been processed, tickets are issued based on priority, (remember, Gohop.ie
requires at least 3 working days for clearance of personal or company cheques)
and forwarded to your home address. All tickets are sent via Swiftpost and there
is a €7 charge for this service.

Are there any fees associated with booking through Gohop.ie?
- €25
Fee for online flight bookings.
- A
non-refundable €25 will be charged for each airline ticket ordered through
our reservation bureau..
- A
non-refundable €26 service fee will be charged for bookings that are made
which include an air, flight and hotel reservation made. Online processing fees
through our reservation bureau.
The
following non-refundable shipping fees will be charged in addition to any service
and processing fees assessed: ·
- €35
ticket on departure fee for delivery to the airport or to have ticket ready for
pickup at the airport. ·
- €25
courier fee for delivery of ticket to anywhere in the Dublin city area. ·
- €7
swiftpost fee. Charge for all tickets to be issued within 7 days, otherwise tickets
will be forwarded by normal mail at no cost.
- Any
lost tickets will incur the cost of a Lost ticket application at the expense of
the client.
- A non-refundable €9 change fee will be charged, per ticket, for each air
reservation changed. ·

Do I need to guarantee my reservation with a credit card or some form of deposit?
Your
airfare cannot be guaranteed until your itinerary is ticketed. Guarantee and deposit
policies for hotels and car rental will be posted on the detail information page
for the hotel or car.

Which credit cards can I use to reserve my flight?
Gohop.ie
accepts Visa, American Express and MasterCard. When will my credit card be charged?
When your tickets are issued, you card will be charged.

If I cancel or change my online reservation, will I get a refund or credit? Are
there any fees I’ll have to pay?
At
the bottom of the screen of your “Planned” itinerary, there will be a message
“Note: Restrictions and penalties apply.” You can click this link to view the
Rules and Restrictions for your itinerary, as well as Gohop.ie Terms of Use. Refund
and credit policies for hotels and car rental will be posted on the detailed information
page for the hotel property or car rental company.

Will I be charged a night’s stay if I miss my reservation or arrive late?
If
you miss your flight reservation, the same penalties apply as would apply if canceling
or changing your reservation. Cancellation and late arrival policies for hotels
or car rental will be posted on the detail information page for the hotel or car
agency.

How do I become a member of Gohop.ie
Becoming
a member of Gohop.ie allows you to use our travel planning, wireless alert, automatic
upgrade and mileage tracking services – and is absolutely free.
To
sign up as a member, click the "New Member" button on the home page and fill in
the required information.

My e-mail address has changed. How do I change it?
Once
you have logged in you amend your profile information including email address/address
info/preferences and billing information.Click onn My Profile and click edit on
the relevant category of information that you wish to change.

How can I be removed from the Gohop.ie newsletter?
You
can unsubscribe to the bulletin by sending an email to ebuzz@Gohop.ie with a subject
header of "unsubscribe"

Can I receive an e-mail with personalized fare information?
Gohop.ie
currently does not provide personalized fare information via e-mail, but we are
looking into providing this service in the near future.

Does Gohop.ie ever sell my personal information?
Gohop.ie
does not share information about any individual members to any advertisers. For
more information, click on the "Privacy Policy" on the left navigation menu.

How can I be sure that my credit card information is secure?
Gohop.ie
is so confident that our online order system is secure that we willing to make
a "Secure Shopping Promise" to you: if your credit card information is stolen
while you are making an online purchase at Gohop.ie,
and someone uses that information to make a fraudulent charge on your card, Gohop.ie
will reimburse you for up to £200 of your liability as the holder of the
credit card.

do need to register as a member to use Gohop.ie to purchase travel. You can view
flights without becoming a member however if you wish to book flights you will
need to log in as a member. Some of the many benefits of using our site include
being able to set up your own travel profile and receiving our weekly ebuzz newsletter
via e-mail. ebuzz contains information from special offers from airlines, hotels
and rental car companies and keeps you informed of the offerings out of Ireland.

How can I contact the site for help?
To view our Frequently Asked Questions, click on “Help” in the top main navigation.
Through Gohop.ie you have access to online booking 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Our Reservation department is available to answer any queries you have 6 days
a week. The contact information is available on the “Contact Us” page, through

How can I review a reservation I’ve previously made?
To
view a reservation you’ve previously made, from our home page click on “Travel
Planner” in the top main navigation, and then “Open a Saved Trip” on the left
navigation menu – which will bring you to a listing of all planned and purchased
trips.

I know if I need a visa or passport?
To
find out if you need a visa or passport for the country you are travelling to,
click on "Trip Toolst" on the home page, and then click on the "Visa Requirements"
link. Scroll down to the country you will be travelling to for visa and passport
information.
