Travel media awards

On Thursday the 30th November the Inaugural Travel Media Awards took place in the Westbury Hotel in Dublin. The awards, which were organised by TravelMedia.ie, were attended by over 120 guests including members of the travel trade and members of the media.

To give the awards a point of difference to other travel industry awards, the winners were voted for by members of the media and were independently compiled and validated by the School of Hospitality Management and Tourism - Dublin Institute of Technology.

The awards were deemed a great success by all who attended and it is hoped that this year is the first of many for this exciting event.
