Things to do in Ho Chi Minh City
- Shop ‘til you drop at the Cho Ben Thanh Market. Stocking everything from fresh food, to clothes and handicrafts, this market is perfect for picking up some souvenirs.
- Stop for a coffee at Up Café. This quirky little café's upstairs decor features a piano, table and chairs hung rather precariously from the ceiling. The music can be quite cheesy however, so if you're looking for somewhere a little cooler try La Fentetre Soleil.
- Sip cocktails at Chill Sky Bar. An elegant rooftop bar offering incredible views of the city. Note there is a strict dress code – no shorts or sandals. Come during happy hour as it can be quite expensive.
- Discover the underground world of guerrilla warfare at the Cu Chi Tunnels. Learn about life in the tunnels and observe the grisly traps lining the jungles set by Viet Cong soldiers.
