Things to do in Marbella:

  • Take part in the Marbella Fair celebrations. This is how the locals pay tribute to the patron saint, San Barnabe. There is a 7-day long festivals, which takes place in June. There are firework displays, lots of dancing, parades and plenty of food and drink. This is an experience you shouldn’t miss when on holiday in Marbella.
  • Put on your glad rags and dance the night away at the clubs on the Golden Mile. The music here is usually a mix of R’n’B, disco and chill out tunes. Its always a great night out on the Golden Mile.
  • Ride the waves at Nagueles Beach. This is the beach that the Golden Mile faces onto. This beach was awarded a blue flag, so it is always spotless. There are plenty of sun loungers, jet skii’s, pedalo’s and yachts on offer. Unwind on the golden sand or get your adrenaline pumping in the water, the choice is yours on a Marbella holiday.

Best time to visit:

Apr-Jun: Smaller crowds and lower prices are some of the advantages to expect when travelling early. The weather is usually sunny and warm too, so it can be wise to start your summer holidays that bit earlier.

On average, Marbella receives more than 360 days of sunshine each year, making it a good year-round holiday destination. The best time to visit depends on whether you want to avoid the crowds and intense heat or not.
