After decades of controversy, friendly Burma (also known as Myanmar) is opening up to travellers, which means the adventurous can experience a curious nation unbiased by hordes of tourists. This 12-day adventure offers comfort level hotels and travel between sights by plane, boat and private buses or vans. Discover the floating gardens of Inle Lake, incredible ruins of ancient Bagan, ancient capitals around Mandalay and the refreshing hill station of Kalaw. Holiday Highlights

This small group experience (Max 16, avg 10) is ideal for single travellers, couples, small groups and as long as you are over 18, these trips are the ideal and safest way to explore Burma/Myanmar. We book quality accommodation with upgraded amenities, private transport and flights, included meals, activities, great adventures, genuine experiences and insider access with a few extra frills along the way. The itinerary includes some light walking and hiking and is suitable for most fitness levels. Nothing too challenging!

When to go: Burma’s dry season runs from October through to May and the wet season from May/June through to early October, when the south-west monsoon starts to blow. The best months to visit are from November to February, however this is also peak season so booking in advance is highly recommended.

Single Travellers:
We believe single travellers should not have to pay more to travel so our group trips are designed for shared accommodation and do not involve a single supplement. Single travellers joining group trips are paired in twin or multi-share accommodation with someone of the same sex for the duration of the trip.
