Complete Cambodia Honeymoon

Complete Cambodia Honeymoon
From ancient cities and religious monuments to gorgeous natural landscapes, Cambodia is a place of timeless beauty. Once home to the mighty Khmer empire, it has become a sanctuary for people from all over the world.
Start your complete Cambodia honeymoon in the bustling city of Siem Reap, your base to explore Angkor Wat, the biggest religious monument in the world. From there, you will also take in the floating villages on the unique lake Tonlé Sap.
Stay in the luxurious and eco-friendly 4 Rivers floating lodge. Situated on the Tatai River, you can kayak along the waterside, or simply relax on the lodge’s decking.
Cambodia is quickly developing into a sophisticated modern nation. Exploring its journey from a turbulent past, to a bright future, will help you appreciate how special this country is.

Honeymoon Highlights

  • Wander through the charming city of Siem Reap. Brimming with lively markets and unique local cuisine, it’s a great introduction to your honeymoon.
  • Delve into the history of the world-famous temples of Angkor. It takes time to appreciate the beauty of this monument and everything around it, so try to explore as much as you can.
  • The town of Kompheim or “Lady Bug Village” offers an authentic Cambodian experience. Depending on what time of year you go, there will be things to do, so every honeymoon is unique.
  • Enjoy a Cyclo ride through Phnom Penh. A traditional means of transport in Cambodia’s capital, it’s a great way to see everything the city has to offer.
  • Sample the local food and drink. From rice wine in Sombai, to the Kep crab market, Cambodia’s variety and quality in foods is incredible.

Best time to visit

November - May: The weather is generally dry, with clear blue skies making outdoor trips more enjoyable, so it would be a good time for a Cambodia honeymoon.
October: Can be a good time as the rains have started to ease, and the busiest season hasn’t arrived yet. Travelling during the wetter months will mean you will avoid the crowds, and can make things cheaper than the peak season.
