Discover Cambodia Honeymoon

Discover Cambodia Honeymoon
A place of bewildering natural beauty, a proud culture, and fascinating ancient cities and monuments, the magic of Cambodia is endless. From the days of the ancient Khmer empire to the present, it has enticed curious travellers from all over the world.
Start your Cambodia honeymoon in Phnom Penh, the capital city of Cambodia. Once known as the “Pearl of Asia”, it has become a bustling modern city proudly clinging on to its cultural heritage.
From there, you will be taken to the beautiful city of Siem Reap, home to some of the most iconic Angkor temples. You will be shown the best of Cambodian hospitality in the luxurious Victoria Angkor Resort & Spa over your stay in Siem Reap.
Cambodia has emerged from its turbulent past as a beautiful nation waiting to be explored. Magnificent landscapes, a fascinating culture, and the Khmer people themselves make Cambodia a truly magical honeymoon destination.

Honeymoon Highlights

  • Cyclo (similar to Thai Tuk-Tuk) journey through Phnom Penh. This is a fantastic way to explore this wonderful city, letting you relax whilst being taken to all of the city’s best landmarks.
  • The floating villages of Tonlé Sap are not only unique, but strangely beautiful. Going when the water levels are at their highest are recommended for this, as boats can take you right through the villages.
  • For those who love food oddities, you’ll visit a town outside Siem Reap that offers deep-fried tarantula. It is a local culinary favourite, but sampling them yourselves is not compulsory!
  • The city of Siem Reap may be best known for the nearby temples, but there is plenty more to this city than what meets the eye. Bustling markets, luxurious hotels and spas, as well as a buzzing nightlife make it more than simply a base to explore Angkorian temples.
  • The temples and monuments built by the Khmer people over the centuries are vast and breathtaking. Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm, Bayon and more are all located on what’s known as the “Small Circuit”, so you can experience all of them with little travel.

Best time to visit

November- May: Dry weather and clear blue skies make November-April/May the most popular time to visit. The conditions make outdoors trips easier and more enjoyable, so it’s a great time for a Cambodia honeymoon.
October: A good wet season time to visit, as the heaviest rainfall is over, but the busy dry season hasn’t started yet. Tonlé Sap Lake will be at its fullest, so you’ll be able to see it in all its glory.

Our opinion

Jennifer - “This is a fantastic trip and a great way to see Cambodia quickly. I have stayed in both of vbthese hotels and they are truly amazing. Although short, this trip will not disappoint as you get to see the main sights of Cambodia, though it will make you want to come back again and again!”
