Heart of Myanmar Tour

Heart of Myanmar Tour

Myanmar’s ancient landscapes and culture has survived through the years as it has remained untouched by the modern world. The breath-taking Himalayas and unspoiled surrounding countryside is unique to The Land of Golden Pagodas. With over 2,200 Buddhist temples in the city of Bagan, you simply can’t avoid the age-old culture of Myanmar on your journey.

Experience panoramic views of pagodas while staying at the luxurious 5-star Mandalay Hill Resort. Each room has the astounding views of Mandalay Hill as well as the Royal Palace and its incredible architecture. After three nights, you’ll never want to leave this Myanmarese paradise.

Best things to do

  • One of the 25 most beautiful beaches of the world voted on Tripadvisor, Ngapali beach is surrounded by a crystal-clear bay perfect for swimming in its temperate waters.
  • Known for its abundance of pagodas and monasteries, Mandalay Hill is worth the trek up to see the panoramic views of the city on Mandalay.
  • Visit ageing and ailing elephants at the Green Hill Valley elephant camp where you can help out with daily care programmes for the elephants
  • One of Buddhism’s most sacred sights, The Shwedagan Pagoda temple attracts pilgrims from all around the world.
  • Larger than the well-known image of Buddha in Mandalay, the Chauckhtatgyi Papa is a 213ft long image of Buddha.

Our Opinion

“Visiting Burma feels as if you’re going back in time because of its untouched feeling. Internet is basically non-existent out there and mobile phones don’t work either, so you really get a feel of leaving the world behind you when you set out to explore. I would highly recommend the Balloons over Bagan, it’s such a magical experience and a different way to see all the sights!”
