Tanzania Safari Attractions:

  • Game drive through some of Tanzania’s most popular national parks. Try to spot the 'Big Five'; African lion, African elephant, Cape buffalo, African leopard and White/Black rhino, these are among the deadliest mammals in Africa.
  • The Ngorongoro crater has some of the most rewarding game viewing conditions in East Africa, it also boats incredibly stunning views, many people consider the crater to be the 8th wonder of the world.
  • The Zanzibar butterfly centre is the perfect attraction for a relaxing day out on your Zanzibar holiday. This centre aims to preserve the islands natural environment as well as giving locals the opportunity to earn a wage through butterfly farming.
  • Discover some history at the Old Fort of Zanzibar. This building was constructed in the late 17th century making it the oldest building found in Stone Town.

Best time to visit:

January - March: This is a superb time of year for a Tanzania safari as this is the main foaling season in the Southern Serengeti & the Ndutu Plains.
July - October: Probably the pick of the season, with the Northern Safari Circuit quite busy. Selous and the Southern Parks are relatively unknown and you can enjoy a more intimate Safari experience.
