Bali Honeymoons

Bali Honeymoon

Home to some of the finest beaches in the world and first-class diving, Bali’s natural wonders have earned it the nickname of “island of the gods.” Its lush landscape and exceptionally welcoming people have been enticing curious travellers for centuries.

Why Bali Honeymoons?

While it is known for its exquisite beaches, Bali offers so much more than other sun holiday destinations. From the bustling markets in the capital city of Denpasar, to the famous rice paddies and temples near Ubud, the island simply gets better the more you explore it.

Things for couples to do

  • The resort of Seminyak has a fantastic selection of beaches, with the nearby Kuta and Legian some of the most popular. While Kuta can be quite busy at times, it’s great for surfing and has the most vibrant nightlife in Bali. Legian however is a good option if you’re looking for something more relaxed on your Bali honeymoon.
  • Animal lovers should explore the wonderful Sacred Monkey Forest in Ubud, home to the fascinating Pura Dalem Agung, or “Temple of Death.” The temple itself is like something taken out of Indiana Jones, and is surrounded by the local Balinese macaque monkeys.
  • Only accessible by low tide, the idyllic temple of Tanah Lot is one of the most iconic places in Bali. It’s a great place to admire the scenery, and the views from the small island at sunset are nothing short of incredible.

Best time to go

The weather is hot all year, but the main dry season in Bali is usually from May to October, with July and August being the busiest months. This would usually be the best weather for a Bali honeymoon.

The wet season in Bali is usually from November to April, but the rain doesn’t usually last long, and it shouldn’t have too much of an effect on outdoor trips.

Why we love Bali Honeymoons

Paul

“What springs to mind when I think of Bali are the ancient temples, gorgeous beaches, incredible mountain ranges and traditional music. Island hopping is a great option for the more adventurous. There’s even a volcano to climb. For the rest, the beaches are perfect for a chill out holiday. I would go back in a heartbeat.”
