Located in the United Arab Emirates, Dubai is a glittering oasis of futuristic skyscrapers, lavish resorts, and gorgeous beaches.
Why Dubai Honeymoons?
No other place offers the astounding attractions of Dubai. With the world’s tallest building, the world’s largest shopping mall, the massive man-made Palm Islands, an indoor ski-slope, and the world’s only 7 Star hotel, a Dubai honeymoon is one of a kind.
Things for Couples To Do
View the city from atop the tallest building in the world. Towering over 800 metres high, the Burj Khalifa is an impressive feat of engineering, complete with sky restaurant and nightclub.
Indulge in some retail therapy. Home to national shopping festivals, the Gold Market, the Dubai Mall – the world’s largest shopping mall – and plenty of souqs and bazaars, Dubai boasts an unrivalled shopping experience.
Best Time to Visit
Dubai has a tropical desert climate, and can get intolerably hot during the summer months, so timing is quite important when planning your Dubai honeymoon.
Dubai weather tends to be hot and humid all year round. June to September can get unbearably hot during the day with temperatures climbing well into the 40s so we would advise you to avoid visiting during this time.
The best time to visit Dubai would be from November to April, when the weather is milder.
Dubai Shopping Festival is held every year in January and February. Offering huge discounts, raffles and entertainment, Dubai Shopping Festival is so popular that a second, more family-orientated festival – Dubai Summer Surprises – now takes place from June to August.
You should note that Dubai is a Muslim region and observes Ramadan, so many restaurants and cafes may operate reduced hours for the month. Food is usually served during the day in hotels, either in the room or in a secluded area. Alcohol is usually served after sunset.
