New Zealand Honeymoon

New Zealand is a country filled with breath taking scenery, rich culture and never ending adventure. A honeymoon here will leave you with unforgettable memories.

Why New Zealand Honeymoons?

Natural wonders, Maori legend and friendly locals, there is so much to love about a New Zealand honeymoon. There are very few countries as unspoiled and diverse. Spend your days hiking through marvellous terrain, whale watching or even simply admiring the beauty of this stunning country.

Things For Couples To Do

  • Go bungee jumping, jet boating, mountain biking or even skydiving together in Queenstown. It’s not known as the adventure capital of the world for nothing.
  • Maori Villages showcase New Zealand's fascinating culture, visit one of these villages together and immerse yourselves in the culture.
  • Make the trip to Franz Josef and explore this breath-taking glacier together.
  • Fiordland is home to spectacular views of rugged mountains, cliffs and fjords. Milford Sound is an unmissable attraction on a New Zealand honeymoon.

Best Time To Visit

New Zealand’s weather does not vary much throughout the year, making it a year round holiday destination.
Summer occurs during the months of December - March. Temperatures average around 20-30 degrees at this time of year. It is New Zealand’s busiest season. Winter runs from June - August and temperatures average at 10-15 degrees.
Many important festivals take place throughout the year. The World Buskers Festival is very popular, this usually occurs sometime in January. Enjoy watching hundreds of street performers and singers take to the streets of Christchurch to entertain the crowds, free of charge.
Splore festival takes place in February. This is a very popular music and arts festival, that lasts for 3 days. Dance and sing along to local acts, admire art exhibitions and sample traditional cuisine.

Why We Love New Zealand Honeymoons

“I have been to New Zealand three times so far and still cannot get enough of this amazing country. I often get asked what part I liked best and find it impossible to decide. I would definitely say the South Island if you are interested in some of the more adventurous activities – I tried skydiving in Bay of Islands, paragliding, whale watching, tiger moth flights and much more. Once you visit New Zealand you will not want to leave.”
