St. Lucia Honeymoons

St. Lucia Honeymoon

St Lucia Honeymoon

Fringed with exquisite Caribbean beaches teeming with sea life, as well as magnificent forests and volcanoes found inland, St Lucia is an idyllic honeymoon destination. From mud baths and hot springs to fantastic snorkelling and diving, there is a wealth of things to do.

Why St Lucia Honeymoons?

It is very rare to find somewhere that packs so much into such a compact space as St Lucia does. Stunning beaches sprinkled with soft sand and warm water only tell half the story, as the forests towards the island’s core are home to mountains like the iconic Pitons.

Things for Couples to do

  • Crystal-clear Caribbean waters surrounding St Lucia make for excellent diving, regardless of your experience. Pigeon Island is one of the top places, and SNUBA diving is an option for something slightly more adventurous than regular snorkelling.
  • The iconic Pitons near Soufriere are gorgeous from a distance, but it is more than worth it to book a tour for a closer look. If you’re feeling energetic, hiking the mountains will provide you with some terrific photo opportunities, as the views of the island below are absolutely breathtaking.
  • Cliff at Cap Restaurant in the renowned Cap Maison is an exclusive and romantic venue for a meal, or evening drink. Situated on the cliffside overlooking the vast ocean, it’s an ideal place to unwind after exploring the island on a St Lucia honeymoon.
  • One of the finest beaches on the island is Anse Mamin, north of the town of Soufriere. A good deal quieter than other beaches, it’s another great spot for snorkelling, or simply a peaceful stroll along the water.

Best time to go

May-June: Temperatures roughly the same all year, but hotels can be cheaper for your St Lucia honeymoon. June can have a greater chance of showers as summer approaches.

November: Similar to May as you would avoid the worst weather and find cheapest prices. Between December and April is the high season, as the weather is at its warmest and driest.

Why we love St Lucia Honeymoons

“St Lucia was one of the places that first made me fall in love with the Caribbean. Incredible natural wonders like the iconic Pitons, not to mention the luxurious resorts dotted across the island were part of what won me over. A honeymoon in St Lucia would have all the comforts you’d expect to find on a Caribbean island, with plenty to explore for the more adventurous.”
