Seychelles Honeymoons

Seychelles Honeymoon

Lying off the eastern coast of Kenya, adrift in the Indian Ocean, the Seychelles are one of the most romantic honeymoon destinations in the world.

Why Seychelles Honeymoons?

Couples select a Seychelles honeymoon to experience a supreme beach destination. Pristine beaches, virgin rainforest, and unrivalled ecotourism, make the Seychelles a real-life tropical paradise.

Things for Couples To Do

  • Go scuba diving or snorkelling. The Seychelles are renowned for having some of the clearest seas in the world, perfect for viewing the underwater schools of tropical fish, coral, manta rays, and whale sharks.
  • Trek through the Seychelles’ lush tangled jungles. Go bird-watching in the Valle de Mai on Praslin, or hike to the country’s highest point in Morne Seychellois National Park.
  • For a truly memorable trip, you could combine your Seychelles honeymoon with a luxury safari in Kenya.

Best Time to Visit

The Seychelles have a tropical climate, with most rainfall occurring in January and February. Luckily, the rest of the year remains quite dry.

Generally speaking a Seychelles honeymoon is ideal most of the year. The islands lie outside of the hurricane belt so storms are rare.

Seychelles weather tends to be hot and quite humid all year round, with an average daily temperature of 29° and a sea temperature of about the same.

The best time to visit Seychelles would be March to April or October to November as the weather is hot and dry, and it’s between peak seasons.

The Seychelles Mind Body Spirit Festival is held every year in June. Featuring Pilates, Thai Chi, yoga, acupuncture, spa treatments, meditation, massage, music, and all sorts of treatments bound to have you and your partner feeling great.

Why We Love Seychelles Honeymoons

“Yes, the sea is that blue, and yes, the sand is that white! There's a reason the Seychelles are one our top honeymoon destinations; they're paradise. Picture private islands, pristine shores and colourful coral.”
